The version for Sega Genesis was released by Tengen in 1993 with additional levels, new background music and cut scenes which were missing from the arcade version. Amiga, Atari, ST, Commodore, GX4000 and ZX Spectrum developed their own version of the game in the same year. Capcom released the game for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991. The game was ported for many other platforms soon after the release.

Nick and Tom can toss snowballs in an am, which means you can hit enemies with some well aimed shots - even when there's a barrier between them and you.
